• Visited Grapes Value Addition unit which was developed under Impactful Interventions (2023-24)
• Output 20 kg dry grapes per month. Earning an average income of Rs.5000-7500/- (Rs.500-600 /kg of dry grapes) and instructed to maintain income and expenditure registers for analysing BCR.
Appipatti Village, Chinnamanur Block
Event Details:
* Visited KVK promoted Betelvine RTS unit of Mr.Renuga Senthilvel, brand name is Mr Green, M/S Sri Sai Sakthi Foods.
* She has participated in FLD programme on Demonstration of Multipurpose Processing Machine during 2022-23. After our interventions, she has started betelvine RTS in small level using KVK incubation center and standardized the drink.
* Currently, she has established betelvine RTS unit on 29.1.2025 with the continuous technical and handholding support (licensing, branding, packaging, labelling) of KVK and financial assistance of Rs. 14,30,000/- under PMFME scheme from District Industries Center, Theni.
* Provided advisories on zero waste concept to prepare betelvine mouth freshener using betelvine pomace. Instructed to take order in hotels, supermarkets and colleges.

1. Field visit was made to Jasmine crop at Kathirnarasingapuram village of Andipatty block.
2. We have identified leaf webber and sucking pest incidences in Jasmine. Recommended spraying of Imidacloprid 2ml/lit.
Celebration of Field day
Event Details:
1. Conducted field day for Maize crop under the scheme of FLD programme on Fall Army worm Management in Maize at Kondalnaickenpatty village of Bodi block.
2. Lecture delivered on Post harvest technology for maize growing farmers.
3. we have recorded farmers feedback of this variety and documented testimonial videos.

Trainings for Extension Personnel

Conducted off campus training on Importance of Maternal Health - Action Plan 2024-25, S.No.12.3 (10), Page No.113.
• Handled a technical session on consumption of balanced diet, food pyramid, energy yielding foods, body building foods and protective foods, preparation of weaning foods, processing of millets and its value chain
• Provided RDA, dietary guidelines for first 1000 days of life (Pregnancy and Lactation period) and development of low cost value-added products from locally available agriculture and horticultural produces for eradication of micronutrient deficiency especially for Anemia and Vitamin A.
