2. Importance of Organic Farming, Biocontrol, Biopesticide, Panchakavya, Five leaf extract, Fish amino acid and 3 G Insect repellent application methods, preparation and uses were explained in detail.

Conducted method demonstration on dehydration of fruits, vegetables and flowers
• Demonstrated different washing methods, processing techniques, and dehydration techniques for tomato, carrot, beetroot, sweet potato, jackfruit, lemon, orange, amla, dragon, Shankhupushpam.and Jasmine.
• Explained the importance of certification, branding, packaging, labelling, and marketing strategies for value-added products and rural enterprises.
Awareness Campaign on Balanced Use of Fertilizers
Event Details:
An awareness campaign on balanced use of fertilizers was conducted at Kamatchipuram village, Chinnamannur block
- Explained about the importance of soil, Irrigation water testing and INM practices to improve the soil health management.
- Created awareness about balanced nutrient application, soil test-based fertilizer recommendation, reduce excessive use of chemical fertilizers, improve soil fertility and crop productivity through various activities.
On campus Training and CFLD Bio fortified Maize Seeds input distribution programme.
Event Details:
1. Conducted On campus training on "IPDM in Maize crops" to the farmers at KVK.
2. Lecture delivered on Integrated pest and disease management in Maize.
3. We have given lecture on different types of organic manure, Importance of neem cake, Application of Vermicompost, green manuring practices, recycling of farm waste, composting technologies and usage of bio fertilizers to the farmers.
4. Discussed about major issues faced by farmers and given remedies to the farmers.
5. Finally, we have distributed Bio fortified maize seeds to the 25 Nos. farmers of Sadayalpatti village under the CFLD programme.
