Event Details: 

An awareness programme on the Importance of Establishment of Nutri Garden and Microgreens Cultivation for Nutrition Security was conducted at Vishwanathapuram Anganwadi Centre, Appipatti Panchayat, Chinnamanur Block. The programme aimed to promote household nutrition through the cultivation of nutrient-rich vegetables and microgreens.
• During the programme, awareness was created on the establishment and management of Nutri Gardens, Microgreens Cultivation, Recommended Dietary Allowance for school children, importance of protective foods, healthy consumption patterns, micronutrient malnutrition, its symptoms, dietary guidelines and preventive measures.
