Event Details: 

* Conducted Off Campus Training Programme on Value Addition in Banana Flower as per the SAC recommendation.
* Provided an overview of KVK mandated activities and the technical and handholding services offered to farmers, entrepreneurs and rural youth.
* Delivered a technical session on value added products from banana flower, including its nutritive value, nutrient potential and nutraceutical properties, as well as the potential of banana flower by-products.
* Conducted method demonstrations on banana flower dry, powder, thokku, ready to use (RTU) mixes, jam and sweets.
* Explained licensing procedures, product labelling, branding, packaging, marketing strategies and relevant State and Central Government schemes for promoting banana flower-based enterprises.
* Shared a success story of a banana based enterprise to motivate participants towards entrepreneurship and value addition.
