FLD Field visit was made to Paddy crop at Poolandhapuram village of Chinnamanur Block.
Explained about nutrient management practices to the farmers and observed growth parameters from demo plot.
Zinc deficiency problem was noticed in paddy field. Recommended soil application of 5 kg of zinc sulphate mix with 20 kg of sand per acre or foliar spray of 0.5 % zinc sulphate.
