Scientist visit was made to provide technical guidance and handholding support to Pudhumai Enterprises, a KVK-promoted women entrepreneur unit receiving financial assistance under the PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME) at Cumbum.
• Technical guidance was provided on malting techniques, reduction of antinutritional factors, development of fiber-rich instant mixes and scientific drying methods for value-added food products.
• Handholding support for obtaining MSME - Zero Defect Zero Effect Certification (ZED) Certification, Trademark Registration and packaging materials to strengthen enterprise development and market competitiveness.
