Field visit was made to Chilli and Brinjal crop at Kandamanur village of Kadamalaikundu Block.
The following problem was identified during the visit. Chilli - micronutrient deficiency, Brinjal - Fruit borer.
We have recommended a foliar application of 19:19:19 + Mn @ 1 % at 60 days after planting. Boric acid @ 0.3% at flowering and 10 days later for chilli. Spraying of Azadirachtin 1.0% EC (10000 ppm) - 3.0 ml/lit for Brinjal fruit borer incidence.
