Conducted skill training on Value Addition in Millets (Action Plan 2024-25 – Skill Training and Vocational Training, S.No. 4, Page No.114)

• Overview of KVK Mandated Activities
• Lecture delivered on Millets cultivation and its importance by SMS (Agronomy)
• Technical session on classification of millets, drudgery reducing equipments, safe storage methods for millets, nutrition and health benefits of millets, consumption pattern and dietary intake, RDA, primary and secondary processing of millets and Demonstrated Ready to Use (RTU), Ready to Eat (RTE) products, sensory evaluation methods, recipe standardization procedures, branding, licensing (MSME-Udyam), Quality certification (AGMARK, MSME-ZED (bronze, silver and gold), different packaging materials by SMS (Home Science)

• Explained FSSAI licensing procedures, labelling revised guidelines by Mr.P.Suresh Kannan, Food Safety Officer, Chinnamanur Block

• Handled a session on marketing strategies and its importance by SMS (Agricultural Extension)

• Explained business plan and digital marketing by PC (i/c)
• Pre and post evaluation of training and feedback
• Distribution of certificates and training materials to the all the participants
