• Handled a technical session on Importance of Maternal Health, Good Health, Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA), 1000 golden days, Processing of millets and development of low-cost high nutrient diet, food pyramid, processing of black garlic and its medicinal properties, Complimentary foods, Protective foods, Importance of Micro and Macro Nutrients for protecting our body.

FLD field visit
Event Details:
1. Field visit was made to FLD on Demonstration of TNAU Crop Shine in Red gram at Moorthinayakanpatti village of Chinnamanur block.
2. We have noticed sucking pest incidence. Recommended imidacloprid @ 2 ml per lit of water.
3. The crop was attained a flowering stage. Growth parameters were recorded from the demo plot.
Technical Lecture on IFS
Event Details:
1. Lecture delivered on Integrated farming system to the farmers of Apipatti village.
2. Explained about advantages of IFS, various components of IFS and IFS on different agroclimatic conditions to the farmers.
3. Also, explained about Vermicompost production technology and Azolla cultivation techniques.

• Handled a technical session on Post Harvest Management, Processing and development of high value-added products from betelvine, nutrients and nutraceutical potentials of betelvine
• Demonstration of novel products from betelvine like Betel vine extraction, RTS, Betel leaf water, Betelvine Powder, Betelvine pomace, Betelvine Gulkand, Betelvine Idly Powder, Betel vine powder incorporated cookies
• Explained FSSAI, MSME registration, labelling, packaging, branding and marketing strategies, state and central schemes for startups

3. Finally, we have distributed Vermibeds to the 10 farmers under the SCSP programme.
