Conducted a Method Demonstration on dehydration of locally available fruits, vegetables and plantation crops using a Hybrid Dehydrator at Sokkanalai Village, Agamalai Gram Panchayat, Bodinayakkanur Block.
• Demonstrated the dehydration process for value addition and shelf-life enhancement of agricultural produce. Technical guidance was provided on dehydration techniques, processing methods, hygienic handling practices, packaging and storage methods to maintain product quality and reduce post-harvest losses.

Conducted an awareness programme on Nutrition Education, Hygiene and Sanitation for School children at the Tribal Welfare Government Residential Primary School at Kannakkarai, Agamalai Gram Panchayat, Bodinayakkanur Block.
• Created an awareness on the importance of consumption of nutritious and balanced foods for maintaining good health and preventing malnutrition.
• Explained the WHO-recommended handwashing technique, personal hygiene and sanitation practices and the importance of establishing Nutri gardens at household and school levels to improve nutritional security.

As part of Nutri Smart Village Activity, delivered a lecture on nutri garden and microgreens cultivation techniques, consumption pattern of vegetables, fruits and green leafy vegetables and nutritive value.
• Distribution of nutri garden seeds to promote Nutri Garden for improving the nutrition security.

Scientist visit was made to provide technical guidance and handholding support to Pudhumai Enterprises, a KVK-promoted women entrepreneur unit receiving financial assistance under the PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME) at Cumbum.
• Technical guidance was provided on malting techniques, reduction of antinutritional factors, development of fiber-rich instant mixes and scientific drying methods for value-added food products.
• Handholding support for obtaining MSME - Zero Defect Zero Effect Certification (ZED) Certification, Trademark Registration and packaging materials to strengthen enterprise development and market competitiveness.
