*As part of FLD program, conducted on campus training on Importance of Drudgery Reducing Technologies in Agriculture and Allied Sectors.
* Handled a technical session on Drudgery reducing technologies, * Demonstrated Multi Tree Climber *Explained agri engineering schemes and subsidies.
FLD Field visit for Paddy
Event Details:
- FLD Field visit was made to Paddy crop at Poolandhapuram village of Chinnamanur Block.
- Explained about nutrient management practices to the farmers and observed growth parameters from demo plot.
- Zinc deficiency problem was noticed in paddy field. Recommended soil application of 5 kg of zinc sulphate mix with 20 kg of sand per acre or foliar spray of 0.5 % zinc sulphate.
Visit to Mushroom Production units

* Field visit were made to identify the leaf spot and cutworms and their suitable recommendations were given.

Lecture delivered on Improved paddy cultivation technologies
Event Details:
- Explaining about seed treatment and nutrition management practices in paddy cultivation.
- Providing knowledge about Integrated pest and disease management in paddy cultivation
On Campus training
Event Details:
- Conducted On Campus training on "Vermicompost production technology" to the farmers.
- Lecture delivered on "Organic farming - Introduction, Vermicompost production technology, types of different earthworms and role of Vermicompost in soil health" to the farmers.
- Also, we have demonstrated installation of vermibed in KVK Campus to the farmers.
Field Visit
Event Details:
Follow up Visit to Bio fortified Pearl millet (Dhanasakthi ) field and observed the Yield parameters. Advisories given on marketing of pearl millet to FPOs and Entrepreneurs for value addition. Given instructions for branding of Biofortified pearl millet variety.
