We have visited FLD - TMV 14 Groundnut Fields.
Identified the Leaf minor and alternaria leaf disease incidence and recommendations were given.

We have visited Red Banana field and identified the sigatoka leaf spot and Micronutrient deficiency symptoms.
Recommendation were given on Sigatoka leaf spot Management Practices and foliar application of 0.5 % IIHR Banana Special.
On campus training -IPDM in Banana
Event Details:
1. Conducted training on Integrated pest and disease management as part of the FLD Banana programme and discussed about leaf spot, moko wilt and stem weevil management.
2. Input distributed to banana farmers for control banana leaf spot ( NRCB Bio Consortia- 10kg/ farmers)

Visit to Paddy (RNR15048) Field and identified the Bacterial Leaf Blight and swarming caterpillar incidence.
Advisories on Foliar application of streptomycin sulphate+Tetracycline combination BLB management.
For management of Swarming caterpillar Foliar application of Chlorpyriphos 20EC was recommended.

Identified the root rot incidence and Micronutrient deficiency.
Recommendation were given on
Soil application of Trichoderma asperellum 10-15 g / plant at 10 days interval.
Foliar application of 0.25 % Zinc Sulphate + 0.1 % of Boron.
Diagnostic field visit
Event Details:
1. Diagnostic visit was made to Fenugreek crop under Polyhouse cultivation at Cumbum Block. Aphids infestation was noticed.
2. We have recommended a foliar spray of Neem oil @ 0.5 %.
