Celebration of Field Day

2. We have identified micronutrient deficiency problem. Recommended foliar application of MN mixture @ 0.5 % to the farmer's.

Celebration of 7th Poshan Pakhwada

* Celebration of 7th Poshan Pakhwada at Kamatchipuram Colony Anganwadi Center, Chinnamanur Block.
* Conducted an awareness programme on the importance of Poshan Vatikas for enhancing dietary diversity by providing key micronutrients through local fruits, vegetables, GLVs.
* Distribution of vegetables seedlings to the Anganwadi Center and mothers for setting up Poshan Vatikas at AWC and household level.
* Distribution of ICDS Millets biscuits to the SAM children.
* Pledge was taken on Poshan Vatikas for healthy lifestyle.

Celebration of 7th Poshan Pakhwada at Kamatchipuram Anganwadi Center, Chinnamanur Block
• Handled a technical session on importance Poshan Vatika for improving the well-being of women and children.
• Delivered a lecture on the theme of world health day “Healthy beginning, Hopeful Futures” like first1000 golden days and its importance, consumption pattern of energy yielding, body building and protective foods and formulation of complementary foods to eradicate micronutrient malnutrition.
• Exhibited and Distribution of KVK Multi Nutrient Ready to Use (RtU) mixes to the mothers and children especially for Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) children.
