1. Conducted off campus training on "ICM in Redgram" to the farmers.

2. We have explained about integrated nutrient management practices, seed treatment technologies, drought management strategies and market linkages to the farmers.

3. Finally, we have distributed TNAU Crop Shine to the 10 farmers of Moorthinayakanpatti village under the FLD programme.

Event Details: 

Mrs.Nagajothi Balu has been doing moringa farming since 2020, she is planning to develop moringa value added products. Hence, she visited KVK on 23.09.2025 to gain knowledge on processing and value addition of moringa. Provided technical advisories based on her need. She started to prepare moringa powder by shed drying technique.
• For follow up, visited her unit to provide technical and handholding support on moringa value addition.
• Explained different dehydration methods, storage bag for enhancing the shelf-life dry materials, labelling procedures and Marketing strategies.

1. Lecture delivered on Organic farming to the farmers of Kandamanur village.

2. Explained about organic input production techniques, seed treatment technology and the importance of bio fertilizer to the farmers.

1. Field visit was made to OFT on Assessment of drought management strategies for improving yield in Maize at Srirengapuram village of Theni block.

2. We have identified the fall army worm incidence in trail plot. Recommended chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 200ml/ha.

3. Finally, we have recorded growth parameters.

• Demonstration of Coffee Pulper, Black Pepper Thresher, White Pepper Processor, IRRI storage bag for increasing the shelf life of the produce
• Explained licensing, branding, packaging, labelling, marketing strategies, state and central schemes.

4. Discussed about major issues faced by farmers and given remedies to the farmers.
5. ⁠Finally field visit to Maize to identified the maize fall army worm incidence in maize field and suitable recommendations given to the farmers.

2. We have noticed drought incidence. We have recommended foliar application of PPFM.

3. Growth parameters were recorded from the demo plot.

2. We have identified Brown plant leafhopper incidence in major area. We have recommended Chlorpyriphos 20 EC 500 ml/ac.

3. Finally, we have recorded yield parameters from the demo plot.

Event Details: 

1. Field visit was made to FLD on Demonstration of Drone application of NRCB Banana Sakthi in Banana at Chinnaovalapuram village of Chinnamanur block.

2. We have identified potassium nutrient deficiency problem. Recommended foliar application of multi K or SOP @ 0.5 to 1.0 %.

3. Finally, we have recorded yield parameters from the demo plot.
