Exposure Visit was arranged for getting practical exposures. Visited Beekeeping unit, honey processing unit, value addition center, packaging and labelling sections and marketting outlets.

Event Details:
1. Conducted group meeting for FLD on "Demonstration of TNAU Sugarcane booster for increasing productivity in Sugarcane.
2. Explained about nutrient management practices in Sugarcane and benefits of TNAU Sugarcane booster to the farmers.
3 . Distributed TNAU Sugarcane booster as a critical inputs to the farmers.

FLD Field visit to Maize.
Event Details:
1. Field visit was made to maize crop under FLD program at Sadayalpatti village.
2. Discussed about maize fall armyworm management and suitable recomendation were given.
FLD Training on Demonstration of Dehydrated Products using locally available horticulture produces
Event Details:
• Handled a technical session on Different Dehydration techniques.
• Demonstrated Solar Dryer and explained about the schedule for drying of fruits and vegetables like pretreatment techniques, sulphuring time and drying temperature.
• Demonstrated onion, garlic and ginger peeling methods using Multipurpose Food Processing machine. *Demonstrated Arka High Humidity Storage Box for improving the shelf life of GLVs.
• Demonstrated carrot powder, tomato powder, onion powder, mushroom powder, green chili powder and dry grapes.
STRY Training Programme on Millets Production and Value Addition
Event Details: Conducted 6th day (final day) STRY Training Programme on Millets Production and Value Addition in collaboration with SAMETI, Tamil Nadu and MANAGE, Hyderabad.
During the valedictory session, Mr.P.Maheswaran, PC (i/c) welcomed the gathering. Presidential address was given by Dr.P.Patchaimal, Chairman, KVK Theni. Felicitation by Mrs.P.Shanthi, DD (ATMA-FTC), Theni and distributed certificate to all the participants.

2. Observed germination percentage and growth of crop.
3. Discussed about weed management practices to the farmers.
